Dining at Quattro Ristorante Dubai

A Well-known brand all the way from Mumbai, Quattro Ristorante has gained quite a lot of fame here in Dubai too. Recently opened & Paradise for Vegetarians like me, this restaurant serves Italian and Mexican cuisine with a slight gastronomy twist. Adjoining to another famous restaurant ‘Spice Klub’, both are handled by the same management and is cleverly located in Mankhool Dubai opposite to Kamat.

During my first visit to Spice Klub, I remember the manager insisting us to try the food at Quattros but soon after a few weeks we finally entered the premises and was absolutely amazed. The decors are contemporary yet classy, colorful and lively, the use of Green, Blue, and Yellow hues in major looks very pleasant, even the seating arrangement is very comfortable and cozy too.

About the Food, I would state it to be semi-gastronomy, I am saying this because I have had food at Spice-Klub too, and they have more variety of dishes served in the molecular gastronomy form. The presentation is as such that your heart would break to spoil it. The staff here is impressively well trained; they explain each and every dish so well that you exactly know what is served to you.

Like always, visiting any famous place come with a price, As usual, Quattro is way too crowded and minimum waiting for weekends is approximately an hour, whereas in Spice Klub it can be much longer so booking is recommended. In the course of my frequent visits to this amazing restaurant, I have had a chance to try at least 40% of the menu, so without any further ado lets see what I had on my plate.

DIPS

BEVERAGES

Mint & Cucumber Mojito

They use cotton candy as a sweetener with some dry ice for the smokey effect. It is very strong on flavors and is a Must try.

Kiwi Margarita

Is more like a slushy drink which needs a spoon and not a straw. A little too sour for my taste, but no harm in giving it a try.

Passion Fruit Lemongrass

My absolute fav… Passion fruit beautifully mixed with lemongrass, this slushy drink is full of flavor.  Again you need a spoon here and not a straw.

SOUP

Broccoli & Cheese

Yummmm….. It is creamy, it is cheesy and it is mouth-watering. Traditional Italian cream soup with a combination of cheese and broccoli. Served with some butter and bread on the side.

APPETIZERS

DIY Nachos

It is messy, cheesy and absolutely delicious. My all time favorite. You can choose the topping you want or trust your attendee and they will do the rest for you. Mine was Gluten-free corn chips tortilla, with Mexican beans, Classic Sauce, Jalapenos with Sour Cream & Guacamole.

Filo Parcels

Crispy filo pastry wrap, stuffed with spiced corns and olives. Baked not fried!!

Taquitos

Again my absolute fav … Tortilla cones filled with beans, jalapenos with Avocado ice cream on the top along with tomato salsa served in shot glasses makes this a star dish… well at least for me!!

Southwestern Rolls

Crispy Mexican rolls stuffed with peppers, Mexican rice, Black beans, and cheese served with chipotle mayo.

Tacos

Again, like nachos, you can either choose your toppings or trust the attendee. I had ordered for hard taco shell filled with Mexican beans, grilled vegetables with classic salsa. Served with a variety of extra toppings to customize it as per your taste.

PASTA

Fettuccine Pesto Genovese

Again a star dish, I have had pesto pasta at many places, but this one is one of the best. Creamy pesto sauce with penne is just delicious. Don’t forget to order some garlic bread with it, I bet you would need it.

PIZZA

Primavera

Not a big fan of Pizzas and this one was quite simple for my taste buds. Very simple ingredients like tomato sauce, Mozzarella, and few veggies. Makes this an average dish.

DESSERT

Tres Leches

Tastes like fresh coconut to me is quite creamy and is simply delicious. Tres Leches is basically a classic Mexican cake presented in a deconstructed form at Quattro.

Chocochunk fudge Brownie In a Chocolate Cage

This is Quattros signature dessert, Brownie fudge topped with chocolate chunks trapped under a chocolate cage and is served with salted caramel ice cream on the side. Absolutely divine.

Saved the best for the last,

Chocolate Saturn & Hot Chocolate Soup

Indulge your soul in all chocolate, trust me, you will wish to go on and on and on and on… common its Chocolate after all.  The chocolate Mousse is hidden under a gold dusted chocolate shell with is melted with hot chocolate soup with frozen chocolate sand on the side. Orange and Mango chocolate jello is an absolute surprise.

This is one place which can fulfill all my craving under one roof. Each and every dish is a master dish and worth visiting each and every single penny. Time and again I have been visiting here and to cover the rest 60% of dishes on the menu I have some more visits to go!!
