I make Hair contact before I make Eye contact. There is a reason behind it though, I am blessed with long and dense hair but they are quite rough, dull and unmanageable. Recently I had got keratin done to my hair but stayed not more than 4 months and my hair got back to the same as it was. Few months back in one of my F-boxx subscription i had received few products from Bliscent which is an Indian based personal care company.
Lately, I have been quite busy with my house full of people, thus getting a chance to write has become very less nowadays. Though I am trying my level best to cop up with everything. It’s been quite long since I have written about any subscription box so without further ado here I am. October box from f-boxx this time appeared very late but the products for the month of October is quite interesting.
And here comes the season of festivals, Marriages and get dolled up. Where Diwali is just around the corner, Fall is the season followed by winters to witness all the amazing festivals and wedding invitation and lots of excitement. (Psst. This is also the season of me and my better half’s birthday and my wedding anniversary too.) In short, along with all the other expenses, my bills go sky high, as I always run out of makeup Specially foundation. And there is when Sephora comes to the rescue.
You see there is a difference between traveling and a vacation, exactly the difference between exploring and leisure. When I travel, it is more like exploring which is tiring but fun. Right from my first international trip to Thailand until my most recent to Goa, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, and Kota and of course the land of Bollywood. Every year has been more like learning in every means especially when it comes to packing. Planning in every stage is very important, then may that be your destination or even small but stressful packing. When I began with my first exploring experience and every year thereafter my packing skills have improved quite a bit (lol). Trust me, every year before packing I used to read dozens of blogs myself, but honestly, I learned it the hard way, and I call it experience.
It’s been a month since my last post, though trust me I have missed you guys as much as you missed me. This post in particular has been one of my longest pending one. So let’s Began……. Do you know the biggest hurdle faced by anyone before going to any planned trip is? Yes, you guessed it right, it is PACKING. Trust me when I say this, it used to be a big trouble for me to choose what to carry and what to leave behind; cause every thing I own is Travel Essentials. Yes I know it is a trip and not migration, but over a period of time, I finally got the catch. Though I learned it hard way but thought of making your life a bit easier in case you are somewhat like me who has ‘I MAY NEED THIS’ disorder.
Yes, it is especially valid; Skin changes as your age go up!! I am in my late 20’s infacts in couple of months I will be giving farewell kisses to my past and shaking hands with 30… OMG!! I feel as though I am riding on a road where U-turn is impossible and riding ahead is not my decision, Sounds frightening, would it say it isn’t? I am certain huge numbers of us would be pretty much on similar streets. When we were youthful, we were rash, who cares state of mind, prepared to acknowledge any test… Those were the days!! Ahh!! Be that as it may, as we develop, we have a tendency to get more cognizant about ourselves, who cares transforms into I give it a second thought, and there are a bigger number of things to stress over other than difficulties.
The festival of forgiveness, forgetfulness, and fun, Holi is the most colorful festival which is celebrated widely in India. This festival has an ancient origin and celebrates the victory of ‘good’ over ‘bad’. I still remember some glimpse of my childhood celebrating this massive festival of color, rubbing Gulal which is a traditional name for colored powder and people cheering ‘Bura na mano Holi hai’ which means, Don’t mind, it’s Holi (literal meaning). Nowadays all the festivals have gone commercial in terms of celebration but In some parts of India, this festival is still celebrated traditionally with Thandai (traditional Indian drink), fried dumplings and sweets.
It is not a typical life hack but I guess this post can be a great help for the people planning party this weekend and thinking what to serve. So here I am with a Recipe to help you!! Middle Eastern cuisine is quite a diverse one. Honestly many expats just like me are completely unaware of the dishes and its name… No seriously…. common guys!!
